The Doodle Chair is a versatile, visually striking, and playful chair that provides different ergonomic solutions based on the needs of the user(s).

With a simple flip, the chair can be transformed into three distinct configurations, prioritizing comfort while accommodating diverse body types and seating preferences. A simple construction, the minimalist form is designed to adapt to a variety of spaces and settings.

The chair is constructed using molded plywood, a fabrication technique first pioneered by Charles and Ray Eames in the mid-twentieth century. Lightweight yet structurally rigid, the Doodle Chair aims to create a new design language for the material, one that blends fluidity with functional stability.

Made from low-cost, locally sourced, and recycled wood from North India, the Doodle Chair is easy to fabricate and assemble. Alternate layers of pine veneer coated in non-toxic glue are compressed to generate the shape. This process of fabrication also allows for the ability to conceal visible joints, highlight the natural grain of the wood, and further reinforce the fluid form.

At its core, the Doodle Chair celebrates form and function, sprinkling in a bit of play with every turn.
